Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her starring roles in the action-spy movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. Her early years were spent in Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. Her mother was a film lover and was a constant source of encouragement to her love for movies as a young person. Paula took part in school co-curricular activities and was especially interested in acting. She was a huge fan of acting with her friends and participated in her school's stage productions. After performing in several high school productions at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and deciding to make acting her profession. She was part of The University of Southern California's summer program, and enjoyed the experience to death. She was assigned a 3 month assignment to make documentary films for PBS. After she had completed the assignment in three months Her first assignment was in the field of production for television documentaries. When she was done with her work, she started producing documentary films. Her work was rewarding however, she always wanted to become an actor. She started her career in acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star in romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in many movies and shows.
