
Ky-mani has been gaining fame with his third and untitled album. Ky-mani was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend, and Jamaican champion at table tennis, Anita Belnavis. Ky-mani is an East African term meaning adventurous traveler, and as an individual living in the spirit of his name Every album or journey, is an adventure. His musical voyage began in 1999 , with The Journey. He had a broad vision and was looking for his own niche while exploring the entire musical spectrum, exploring his many talents. Many More Roads, a traditional reggae album that was nominated for a Grammy in 2001 showed a mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads and The Journey have been well received across the world. This solidified Ky-mani's status as an independent musician. Ky-Mani brings together roots reggae hip-hop R&B modern jazz in order to produce his distinctive sound.
